Grega Zorc

A performer, an actor, a graduate of the Ljubljana Academy of Theatre. His theatrical potential has been revealed in numerous experimental theatrical projects and independent performance art as well as in institutional theatres and successful films (he has won several awards at Slovenian film festivals). He collaborates with Via Negativa from the very beginning (2002). His performance range is extraordinary, simultaneously combining many layers of experience: socially reflective and personally narrative, always spiced with bitter humor and a refined sense of theatrical timing. He likes to hover above the abyss between the private and the public, balancing on the thin line between the seen and the unseen. His performances, often tests of psycho-physical endurance, toy with the audience’s attention, their expectations and anticipation.
