Theory in the time and space of practice Via Negativa
The Via Nova Symposium is a lecture performance cycle in three parts, based on a direct interplay between the theory and practice of performing arts. Two eminent Slovenian theorists, Bojana Kunst and Blaž Lukan, make literal incursions into the context of Via Negativa’s performative practices as their lectures use VN performers in live action. Symposium was a part of PSi 15 SHIFS programe, that was reserved for non-conventional investigation into themes related to the topic of mis-performance. Shifts were designed to accomplish a higher level of interaction between artistic and theoretical work.
