THIS!

info

Multimedia performance, conceived by Boris Kadin and developed in collaboration with the Athens performers from the group Vasistas.

THIS! is four performers, two cameras, two projectors, PC and smartphone. THIS! wonders whether it is today in contemporary art even possible to say something that is not political? Are we because of all that we can see and hear on the stage, any wiser and enlightened? Why the images seem always more convincing than words? THIS! takes place in this field of dia-logue, division of the Logos on the word and image, in which we chain words and images in a contradictory and exclusive meanings. THIS is an activist Rorschach test in the form of “speed dating.” THIS! is four performers, two cameras, two projectors, PC and smartphone. THIS! is as Kubrick, flight to the moon, Phidias cup, the unconscious of social networks. THIS! is the chaining of misunderstanding as the only effect of understanding. THIS! is the appending of communication.
