A group of women forms a multicultural organism that transmits the ethos of community and cultivates cultural identity. They recreate the archetypal image of women who act as guardians and carriers of tradition. Each of them sings her own song about love, fertility, freedom, sorrow and joy. The act of mutual care, responsibility, inclusiveness, emancipation and empathy escalates in collective madness. The only option is to straighten things out, alone and in silence with a few strokes of the hairbrush. In the context of the exhibition “Returning the gaze” performance returns its gaze to the monstrous structure of Tradition.
