PR spin
Don’t Fck Me is the PR spin of the performance Don’t Force Me to Say What I Think, which places two new performers – the event’s moderators – in its choreographic matrix, entering the performance with the promise that, unlike the previous performance, this time they will say whatever they think. The project plays with the strategy of PR spins of politically discarded, failed or otherwise corrupt government or corporate projects, which is also suggested by the announcement of the event: “Don’t Fck Me is a derivative of the project Don’t Force Me to Say What I Think, which was first performed on 14-15-16 April 2023. Following numerous comments and on the basis of the expert opinions we received after the first performances, we have decided to change the original version irrevocably. After careful consideration, we have decided to introduce some structural and personnel changes that we believe will provide a good basis for the further development of this project. In February, Lucija Ostan Vejrup and Luka Piletič will take over the management of the project. To all of you who have already seen Don’t Force Me to Say What I Think last April, we sincerely apologise and inform you that we are offering you free new tickets for the February performances of Don’t Fck Me upon presentation of your old ticket. Seats are limited.”
