Horse, elephant, monkey, cow, pig, squirrel
Words have no meaning in themselves until they are swallowed up in verbal play. Turning words up, down, left, right in an endless whirl between public and private creates a carousel of (un)acceptable, (un)correct, (un)problematic expressions. Populism transforms the culture of violence into a tool of entertainment, a carnival of gadgets, power games and five minutes of fame. The contemporary social circus turns those who think differently into attractions, freaks and targets of ridicule. The jump from hobby-horse ride to piggy-back ride is part of the same merry-go-round that never stops. We are all in this brutal game, it is just a question of who rides whom.
