Katarina Stegnar is an actress, performer, mover, researcher and creator who has been active on the Slovenian theatre scene since 1999. Her creativity has had a major influence on the independent scene – she was an active creator of the Via Negativa platform and a member of the Betontanc group, and is still involved in its spin-off, the collective Beton Ltd. She has also created some prominent roles in Slovenian films. Since 2014 she has been working at the Mladinsko Theatre, Ljubljana.
