Trumpet, glasses, vase. The Zorc story.

In 2002, Gregor performs for the first time at the Museum of Modern Art Ljubljana the funeral of his parents, who died in a car accident when he was 12 years old (Starting Point Anger). In 2004, at the Glej Theatre, he performed how he collected the pension due to him after the death of his parents (Incasso). In 2009, he performed his dilemmas about how to commemorate his deceased parents: For five years, my sisters have been thinking about what kind of grave my eyes and my mother deserve. For five years they were determined: our memory will be modest – but not shy, intimate – but not sentimental, honest – but not pathetic. Questions of aesthetics now become the central theme of The Zorc story. In 2023, as part of the VN20 cycle, Gregor finally buries his parents at the Metelkova Museum of Contemporary Art and deposits his memory in the tomb of Via Negativa.
