“I knew from the beginning that this was just bullshit.”

(Katarina Stegnar)

Bojana Kunst, as a theorist of contemporary performance art, and Katarina Stegnar, as a performer, do not enter into a relationship to find a common language, but to amplify the difference that exists between them. Bojana: “Being a spectator of your performances, which focus on the radical consumption of the body and energy, is for me deeply connected with a feeling of discomfort, which can be so strong that I prefer not to see some of your performances, even though I am extremely interested in your work…”. Katarina: “Dear Bojana, I know from the beginning that this is all just bullshit. Why are we here today? Who has brought us together and why? Instead of making a new performance, Jablanovec combines old material into a kind of lecture performance, old eggs in a new context”.
