Home as a lifelong prison

House arrest is a popular punishment for adolescents. Confined within the walls of your home, imprisoned by your own home habits, home wisdoms, home jokes, home tastes and smells, home hugs and kisses, you are waiting for a reprieve. When the pardon finally comes, you realise, already quite grey, that the punishment is for life. A pardon is just a reminder that your home has no roof over your head. The only way out is a house party!
