Barbara Kukovec

Actress, performer

She graduated from the AGRFT in Ljubljana and received her MA in Acting from Goldsmiths College, London (2006). Due to her comprehensive approach to the subjects she deals with, we can expect (and get) a completely unique performative expression every time. Barbara Kukovec’s ability to achieve excellence and a profound analytical approach, both at the individual and collective level, is also what distinguishes her work in her Via Negativa projects, in which she almost always blurs the boundaries between the subject of the performance and the performance of the subject with her extraordinary power of physical presence.
