Kristian Al Droubi

Kristian Al Droubi started his collaboration with Via Negativa in 2004, when he attended a workshop in Novi Sad, where VN artistic director Bojan Jablanovec was looking for collaborators for a new project in the Seven Deadly Sins performance cycle. Kristian became an indispensable collaborator in most of the projects in the Seven Deadly Sins cycle (Incasso, Bi ne bi, Viva Verdi, Out, Not Like Me), and in a duet with Boris Kadin, they became the focal point of the Balkan Connection – a Via Nova collective presentation of three performances: Game with Toothpicks, Inteview with the Artist (Kristian al Droubi) and What Joseph Beuys Told Me When I Was Laying Dead in His Arms (Boris Kadin).
